Welcome to Covenant Christian School and thank you for your interest in our school!
Covenant Christian School (CCS), for grades K4 through 8, is a non-profit ministry of Smyrna Presbyterian Church (Presbyterian Church in America). Established in 1975, the school continues in its commitment to helping parents nurture their children in the Christian faith and to firmly establish them in a relationship of faith in God as Creator and Savior. To that end we provide students with educational opportunities in the Classical tradition which integrates a knowledge of God into personal practice and encourages productive, disciplined lives. CCS makes no distinction concerning any individual's race or ethnic background, because we believe that all persons are created in God's image, as He makes no such distinctions in His redemptive plan for all mankind.
When to Apply
Covenant Christian School encourages families to begin the application process as soon as applications become available on October 1st of each school year for the the following academic year.
In order to complete the application process, please follow the checklist items listed inside the application, including submission of all applicable, supplemental forms.
Because CCS offers a low student/teacher ratio, classes can fill early, please submit your completed applications as soon as possible. Once all application materials are received, the Admissions Committee will contact you to discuss and schedule an evaluation and an interview.
Parents will be notified of one of the following:
1) Acceptance into the program--a seat is available;
2) Acceptance, but waitlisted until a seat becomes available;
3) We are not able to offer admittance into the program.
A non-refundable fee of $75 must be submitted with each application.
Apply to CCS
The Admissions area of our website is designed to make the application process as simple as possible using our Online Application. We encourage families to apply online as it simplifies submission and provides parents a tool for tracking online the status of their admission after their application has been submitted.
Creating an Online Application
To begin the Online Application process, select Create an Account from the menu at the top of the page.
Then log into your account and Create A New Student Application for your child. You will then have the flexibility to log in and out of your account and access your open application.
After submitting the application, you will be able track online your admissions status at the school by logging into your account. There you will be able to print the completed applications, and if necessary reprint the supplemental forms.
